Itis the successor to and expands upon the longstanding work of Microsoft Philanthropies and the Tech for Social Impact team that supports nonprofits.
Program Overview
Microsoft Elevate for Educators is a large-scale AI skilling initiative designed to build foundational digital and AI competencies among educators and students. The program follows a blended learning model, combining in-person workshops, school visits, virtual sessions, and self-paced learning through the Microsoft Learn Educator Center.
Educators engage in curated learning pathways focused on AI in education, inclusive and accessible learning, cybersecurity awareness, and technology-integrated pedagogy. Through hands-on practice and real classroom applications, participants develop the confidence to use AI as a thinking partner for instructional design and learning transformation.
The program enables educators to earn globally recognized badges and certifications, recognize their professional growth, and become part of a growing community of future-ready educators leading AI-enabled teaching and learning in schools.
Our Role in Microsoft Elevate for Educators
Microsoft India has been collaborating with the Ministry of Education under multiple AI skilling and education programs. Microsoft Elevate brings together technology support, philanthropic grants, curriculum and pedagogy, and large-scale implementation for schools, community colleges, and nonprofit organizations—building on the longstanding work of Microsoft Philanthropies and the Tech for Social Impact team.
We are actively engaged in program delivery across Delhi, Gujarat, and Telangana, working closely with state education systems and school leaders to translate AI concepts into classroom-ready practices.
De Pedagogics is the Global Training Partner for Microsoft Elevate for Educators, responsible for the design and delivery of educator and student capacity-building programs focused on AI readiness, future skills, and technology-integrated pedagogy.
In addition, De Pedagogics serves as the Knowledge and Technical Partner to Piramal Foundation for Education Leadership (PFEL) in the states of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan, supporting large-scale initiatives to empower educators and students with AI skills through structured learning pathways, hands-on application, and contextualized pedagogy.
Together with Microsoft and PFEL, De Pedagogics is committed to building confident educators, future-ready students, and sustainable education systems aligned with the vision of NEP 2020.
